Davis Foot Orthotic Solutions is owned and operated by Brian R. Davis, PT, MS. Mr. Davis has been practicing foot orthoses therapy and fabricating custom foot orthoses since 1987.

Mr. Davis received a Bachelors of Science degree in Physical Therapy at SUNY Stony Brook in 1986. Graduating Summa Cum Laude, inducted into Alpha Eta National Honor Society and recipient of Health Sciences Award for Academic Excellence and Community Service. He went on to receive a Master's of Science Degree in Allied Health, Management and Research from SUNY Stony Brook. His thesis involved a comparative analysis between clinical and radiological measurements to determine leg length inequality. Mr. Davis obtained a specialty certification as a Pedorthist from the New York College of Podiatry Medicine and Eneslow Institute in 2004. He is a nationally invited speaker on the topics of foot, ankle and lower quarter biomechanics and foot orthoses therapy.

Mr. Davis professional career began in 1986 as a physical therapist at Southside Hospital in Bay Shore NY. He was a co-developer of the Southside Health Institute's Foot and Ankle Clinic. In 1989, he was appointed Clinical Adjunct Professor at Touro College in Bay Shore, NY, co-teaching a course entitled "Foot Ankle Biomechanics, Evaluation of Foot Orthoses Therapy".

In 1991, Mr. Davis became the Associate Director of Outpatient Services at Stony Brook University Hospital, and was later appointed Clinical Assistant Professor for the Department of Physical Therapy, School of Health Technology and Management at SUNY Stony Brook. His teaching responsibilities included; Prosthetics and Orthotics, Clinical Medicine and Pharmacology I and II, Research Design, Case Study II and Case Study III, Computer Literacy, Foot and Ankle Kinesiology, and Measurement and Analysis.

Mr. Davis is a two-time recipient of the School of Health Technology and Management's Faculty Honor Award. He was a recipient of SUNY Stony Brook's Presidential Mini-Grant Award. He received the New York Physical Therapy Association's Designated Research Fund Award, Robert Salant Research Award and Outstanding Service to the Long Island District Award.

In 2004, Mr. Davis became the Director of Rehabilitation at Southampton Hospital and later becameĀ  Director of Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech Language Pathology at John T. Mather Memorial Hospital in Port Jefferson, NY.
